Did you know? 150 million rounds of golf were played by Americans aged 65+ in 2023. The 65+ age demographic represents about 21% of all private club members in the U.S. Interestingly, 10,000 Americans turn 65 years old each day! The average age of a golfer who only plays at a “green-grass” facility is 48. The average age of a golfer who plays at both “green-grass” and off-course facilities (think Topgolf) is 42.

A Traveling Consumer

Last year, approximately 12.2 million U.S. adults took a golf trip, close to the all-time recorded high and 20% higher than the annual average over the past 30 years.
