Cost of Membership
Last year, private club industry initiation fees rose 8.7% and dues were up 6.2%. General managers plan on duplicating the increased percentages (of 8.7% and 6.2%) this year as well. Impressively, 34% of private clubs report growing waitlists to join.

Up to 66 percent of golfers spend money on food/beverage during a visit and food/beverage accounts for roughly 30 percent of operating revenue at the average private club.
